The Health Care Auxiliary of MN provides its members with opportunities to share ideas, develop leadership skills and promote volunteer services that support Minnesota’s health care facilities. Jody Bjerke - Dawson President Elect
Members • HCAM represents 90 health care facilities in Minnesota and more than 21,000 volunteers of all ages
Districts • Seven District Chairs provide leadership to members
Volunteer Service • Volunteers serve more than 1.5 million hours a year at an estimated value of more than $32 million
Contributions • Auxiliary and volunteer groups fund raise and donate more than $5.5 million to their facilities each year
HCAM as advocate • Legislative Day in early spring at the Capitol in St. Paul provides education about how government works and opportunities to visit policy makers
HCAM as leader • Annual Conference and district meetings in the fall and spring provide education on a range of leadership topics: • Customer service • Fundraising • Volunteer Recruitment and Retention • Advocacy
HCAM as a resource HCAM provides educational modules to members on a range of helpful topics They are available free of charge to all members
