THE CASE WRITING INITIATIVE Why: To develop high‐quality, CBS‐branded cases, linked to areas of responsible management, and to distribute these cases worldwide via the Free CBS Case Collection at thecasecentre.org. What: All faculty involved in teaching are invited to apply for up to 60 student hours to support the development of a teaching case + teaching note related to responsible management.
WHY APPLY? We do not only provide funding, you also get: • Feedback and assistance for publishing from coordinator (publishing in the Free CBS Case Collection at thecasecentre.org) • Peer review of case by a CBS colleague • Additional editing of case (assigned based on evaluation) • A structured concept that helps you finish the case on time At least one learning objective should address a responsible management education issue
PUBLICATION AT THE CASE CENTRE • Free CBS Case Collection on Responsible Management • The case needs to be used in class before it can be published on the case centre. • We layout the cases in order to ensure a consistent look of the CBS case collection. • Submit a signed consent to publish agreeing to publish the case (if primary data is used).

APPLY FOR FUNDING Please send your case proposal to mkf.ikl@cbs.dk including the following information • Name, department, email and position of faculty: • Confirm participation in a case writing or case based teaching course/workshop OR confirm that you have taught or written cases before. • Title and date of the course you plan to test the case in: • Title of the case + abstract (approx. 150 words): • Data sources: • 3-6 learning objectives, of which at least one directly addresses a responsible management issue. • Explain how the case addresses a responsible management issue.

Case Coordinator - Marie • Coordination • Feedback on drafts • Assists in answering questions (legal, HR, format etc) • Assists publication on The Case Centre + submission for case competitions Academic Lead – Dana • Strategic direction • Evaluation of case proposals – academic quality Case Writer - You • Responsible for writing the teaching case + teaching notes • Responsible for testing • Responsible for the student’s contact with CBS and allocation of their hours Student assistant • Can work up to 60 hours on tasks directly connected to the case
