  6. 2005 First Combined Data Recorder/ECDIS The first certified S-VDR/ECDIS Combo – (data recorder and electronic chart system in one PC). 2005 First Certified Portable ECDIS for Pilots Described as a pioneer project of international proportions, the Norwegian Coastal Administration selected MARIS for supply of 300 portable MARIS ECDIS systems for the Norwegian Pilots.   7. 2009 MARIS is digitizing the UKHO The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) awarded MARIS a contract to supply an ordering, management and maintenance system for marine navigational products and services (e-Navigator). The contract was awarded following EU ”competitive dialogue” tender regulations. e-Navigator is an upgraded version of MARIS Digital Service (MDS) made to exact specifications of UKHO and consist of a ”back of bridge” application and a ”front end”, handling UKHO 100+ world-wide distributors.
