  1. THE ANNOINTING THAT BREAKS THE YOKE A yoke is a dominion or servitude especially when oppressive. It is that thing in you that propels you to do something wrong, or that thing that makes you subjective to oppression. Yoke manifests itself in your decision to do something wrong, to do something contrary to God’s word, to break your covenant with God, to slack in your promises.

  2. The danger of Yoke • it is invisible in itself, • it is subtle • most times its manifestations have apparent justifiable reasons • Yoke sets a limit to how much you can accomplish and how far you can go. It cages a man in gates of brass and bars of iron.

  3. The danger of Yoke • I guess a simple test of operation of a yoke is to remember that any reason that is apparent to the eye is physical and therefore in the flesh – “But they that are of God must dwell in the spirit”

  4. The danger of Yoke • In Matt 15:18-19 (NKJV), the bible says ‘but those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness and blasphemies.” People tend to think that murder means to kill a human. However, the dictionary definition for murder includes: “put an end to or destroy, spoil by bad execution or performance. Therefore if you had a Faith and that faith is destroyed, then you have committed a murder. Yoke will make you kill your faith, destroy your commitment, kill your trust, kill the word of God in you.

  5. VICTORY OVER YOKES • The anointing of God breaks the yoke. • Isaiah 10:27 says “And it shall come to pass on that day that his burden will be taken out of your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil”

VICTORY OVER YOKES • Three phrases are important in this scripture: • “it shall come to pass on that day” – this tells us that there is an appointed day, an appointed time for the yoke in the life of a man to be broken. This time is determined by God Himself. If this is the case, then we must wait patiently and righteously for this day. The word “righteous” here is important because the bible says that sin separates man from God. Therefore, without righteousness it is impossible for God to reach you, as your sin will separate you from God.

  7. VICTORY OVER YOKES • “the yoke will be destroyed”. The bible says that whomever the Lord sets free is free indeed. When the yoke is taken away from you, it is destroyed so that you are completely free. Once this is accomplished, you must keep your healing. Do not go back to your vomit (the yoke). 3. “because of the anointing”. The job is done by the anointing in you.

  8. VICTORY OVER YOKES It then means that: • “At the appointed day, under the power of the right anointing, my yoke will be taken away and destroyed forever……. Memorize this • When this job is done, the child of God is moved into a new realm where he or she begins to exhibit the power and exploits of God.

Be a soldier of Christ wherever you are. 1 Tim 4:12-16 requires us to an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in faith, in love, in integrity, in purity and in spirit (wc-flips) You are already a child of God, an ambassador for that matter, there is no going back. It is time to cast aside all weights and run the race that is before you with fear and trembling. It is a privilege to be a soldier because the Lord willingly equips them with ammunitions that over power their enemy. Some of the problems we have is that we underestimate our ammunitions.

  10. VICTORY OVER YOKES • Just remember that if David looked down on his string, he would not have defeated Goliath. • If Abraham looked down n his age, he would not have had Isaac • If Moses looked down on the promise, the children of Israel would have remained in captivity.

  11. VICTORY OVER YOKES 2. Be Determined to Commit to God Mark 5: 25-34. This woman saw herself as having no choice. Against all the odds, all the pushes and punches from the crowd, all the apparent realities of inability to reach Jesus, she continued to push until finally, at the appointed time, she touched the garment of Jesus and she was made whole. Her yoke was broken and she was free indeed. No body has touched His garment without experiencing the power of God. Only your faith will take you through. Jesus said unto to the woman with the issue of blood, your faith has healed you.

  12. VICTORY OVER YOKES 3. Back your faith with works • Make sure that there is something you are consistently doing for God to promote the kingdom. The bible says we must make heaven with the glory and honour of nations. What are you doing to make sure that this fulfilled in your life? Just don’t seat in church or fellowship, make sure you are active, you are part of the drive for the great commission.

  13. VICTORY OVER YOKES 4. What is on your feet? What is the source of the light your path? • Can you trace what you are doing right now to either the scripture or the rhema of God to you? So many of us are running other people’s vision and unfortunately ours are there untouched. Some of us are just living to get by with the world while the heavenly things are undone. • Always remember that you are part of a whole, hence if your job is undone then the whole is undone.

  14. VICTORY OVER YOKES 5. Take a time off to fast and pray • Fasting helps to bring it all together. Sometimes we feel very far from God, some time we feel quite out numbered by enemy or attacks, sometimes we feel very disconnected, sometime we feel very dried up and sometime we feel we need a higher level of anointing. In all these circumstances, fasting is a great therapy. It draws down the power and anointing of God. 6. Stay Connected

Benefits of anointing • Enables you to do the impossible Heb 1:9 • Gives you power for living Act 10:38, act 1:18 • There will be new revelations • Everybody needs anointing b/c after every one, there are new revelations • Reveals the truth to you • Anointing will flow out of you John 7:38 • Brings healing and forgiveness • The anointing puts a seal of God’s ownership 2 Cor 1:21-22

  16. Prophecy 2007 • Blind eyes will be opened this year. • People will receive new revelations. • There will be new realms of operation • New things • New life • New vision • People will break into new grounds • New inspirations • New experiences • New flow
