Executive Summary Sharing Good Practice • The Contractors’ Information Sharing Symposium “Partnering with Petrotrin” that was held on September 15, 2010 at Point Fortin Borough Corporation Auditorium was developed to engage the Contractors/ Service Providers who work for Petrotrin, Trinmar Operations. • The Company is committed to the sharing of information with Contractors to ensure continued support, as we strive together to provide and maintain safe, efficient, and effective services in accordance with Legislative and Petrotrin’s requirements. The Communication Forum also offers an opportunity to receive feedback from the Contractors regarding their services provided within the Operations. • The first session was held in December 2008 (Clifton Hill) and has been held every two years subsequently. • The general topics communicated are:- • Petrotrin’s General Conditions of Contract; Payment Procedures; Conflict of Interest/ Ethics; Security Arrangements; Contractor HSE Performance (review of incidents and learnings) • Specific topics communicated at the September 2010 session were: • Process Safety initiative at Trinmar Operations (across Exploration & Production); STOW-TT HSE requirements initiative for Contractors; and PLEA HSE training requirement for Contractor employee • The session also allowed for Contractors to ask questions and provide their feedback on topics • Presenters at the session were from HSE, Contracts Office, Security Department and Internal Audit

Safety & Environmental Standards • As indicated on the left, Petrotrin has established a Health, Safety and Environmental Policy Statement which the Contractors must be in compliance in order to ensure we are all adhering to the highest and environmental standards • Contractors were issued letters from Petrotrin stating, “Effective 2009 October, Petrotrin will be requesting that all contractors’ employees have a valid ‘PLEA Contractor HSEQ Passport’ to allow them to work within its operations.”This would be in addition to the existing site specific HSE Induction facilitated by Petrotrin • Contractor personnel who are required to work inside the industrial areas of the operations are the only persons at this time that are required to have the PLEA HSEQ passport along with the site HSE orientation

  4. Anti-Corruption • Our mission is to provide a wide range of “World Class” quality audit services to our customers. We will accomplish our mission by: • Performing independent assessments of systems controls, efficiency and decisions guided by professional standards and using innovative approaches. Right to audit contractors books • Reviews of the compliance framework and specific contract compliance issues. • Investigation of major frauds and irregularities concerning contractors • During the term of the Contract and for a period of twenty-four (24) calendar months thereafter, the Contractor shall maintain proper records and books of accounts relating to the Contract. • Petrotrin or its authorized representatives or agents shall have the right to examine during business hours, all books, records, accounts, correspondence, instructions, specifications, plans, drawings, receipts and memoranda of the Contractor and/or its Sub-contractors insofar as they are pertinent to the Contract. The establishment of a COMPLAINTS UNIT : • Headed by the Chief Audit Executive - addresses reports involving unethical behaviour, conflict of interest, and unresolved complaints • Recommendations will be referred to the Contractor Registration Committee or President. Complaints against Company employees by Contractors : Contractors must report such complaints in writing to : • Complaints Unit (matters involving unethical behaviours and /or conflict of interest • Head of Executing Department for all other complaints
