A NAK MAN LEADS • NLDC Mission Statement: National Leadership Development Conference (NLDC) exists to foster chapter development and inter chapter networking and bonding, to enhance the leadership abilities of our elected and emerging leaders and to unify the chapters of the Fraternity under the current agenda of the National Executive Board of Nu Alpha Kappa. • Now in its 16th year, the NAK National Leadership Development Conference has become a marquee gathering of the NAK Brotherhood consisting of an intensive 3-day leadership development, training & unifying conclave & meeting. Over 120 Brothers, undergrad and professional alumni of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. are exposed to a series of plenary and job-specific workshops, tutorials and group dialogue. NLDC focuses on inter-chapter sharing of best practices & developing Leadership capabilities in an aim to improve their respective chapterand help brothers become productive and successful leaders within their communities. • The NLDC is a proud tradition of the organization as per its mission statement: it allows the brotherhood to unite in a common vision consistent with Nu Alpha Kappa’s proud pillars of: Knowledge, Culture and Brotherhood. • Guest speakers from around the state and country will provide important information ranging from a variety of issues. Founded in 1988 on the principles of Academic Excellence, Culture, Community Service and brotherhood, the organization has grown to over two thousand members and twenty four chapters providing a positive lifetime framework for self improvement, community and civic leadership .
