Project Purpose • Developing tools and resources for recruiting baby boomer volunteers • Raising the public’s awareness of volunteer needs and volunteering opportunities at the library
Project Activities/Methods • Produced printed recruitment materials • Created a volunteer web page • Developed and implemented an online volunteer application

Project Outputs and Outcomes - continued • Through five training sessions, more than 80 library managers now versed in the printed and electronic baby boomer volunteer recruitment materials and techniques • Baby Boomer Volunteer Recruitment Campaign launched in August
Future Work • Conduct a survey of library managers and staff • Complete project evaluation • Continue to recruit baby boomer volunteers
Budget Expenditure • 34,000 bookmarks and 340 posters • 85 bookmark holders, one for each community library • 200 reams of paper in various colors for volunteer recruitment flyers
