NERRS/CDMO IOOS Activities • The NERRS was recently identified as a component of the IOOS national backbone. • In support of this effort, the NERRS is undertaking three significant efforts: • A metadata translation effort. • Implementation of telemetry for improved data delivery. • Implementation of additional data delivery routes (e.g. DODS/OPeNDAP, GIS) NERRS-Regional Association Teleconference 17 July 2006

  3. NERRS/CDMO IOOS Activities • Metadata translation effort • The conversion program takes the existing metadata and reformats it so that it can be imported into Meta-Door. • Meta-Door will then take the metadata and make it FGDC compliant. NERRS-Regional Association Teleconference 17 July 2006
