Youth Ministry Mission • Our mission is to * Empower young people to live as disciples of Christ *Draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community. * Foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person (USCCB Renewing the Vision)
Attendance and Discipline Policies • If your student will be absent from his/her class, call or email Kim before class • Try to be on time for classes. If your son or daughter will be consistently late, please let Kim know. • Use caution driving in the parking lot • Zero tolerance drug and alcohol policy
Sacramental and Quinceanera Preparation • Two-year preparation for Baptism and First Communion • In addition to regular Religious Education classes • Several times throughout the year • Parents attend with child • See me after the parent meeting to receive a calendar • Quinceaneras • Enrolled and attending classes for a year • Daughter interviewed with Deacon Rusty Brandt
Safe Environment Education • Victims Assistance of Sexual Exploitation - Diocesan office • All of the 7-12th grade classes (Wed/Sun) will have one entire class period dedicated to this topic. • Goal: to prevent sexual exploitation of children in our community.

H-E-B Cards • Can use like a Gift/Credit Card • Can purchase $50 or $100 Cards • Can get 11¢ off Gas Purchase until Oct. 31st • 5% of all cards purchased go directly to our Youth programs • Made over $6,000 last year on cards! • Funds Activities including Mission Trips, Retreats, Socials, etc. • The more we have the more we can do!
St. Vincent de Paul Sunday • First Sunday of every Month • Canned foods will be taken up as part of the offertory procession at all Masses on that Sunday • Next one is Sunday, October 2nd • We also hope to call attention to our second collection for the St. Vincent de Paul fund which benefits the needy in our community. “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” 1 Peter 4:11
