  1. Kverneland Accord Pneumatic Seed Drills Product Information 2014

  2. Kverneland Accord Pneumatic seed drills from 2.5 to 12m

  3. 1 The central, totally enclosed cell wheel of the metering device accurately measures the required volume of seed discharges it into the venturi cone. Here the seed is mixed with the air stream and then conveyed through the diffuser tube in the distributor. 2 3 From the distribution head the seed is conveyed, after the random principle, through the seed delivery hoses to the coulters. 4 Seed rates from 2 - 380kg/ha (cereals, peas, beans, rape, grass ...) Infinite adjustment of the seed rate by means of calibration screw and scale setting, without any need for tools 5 6 Normal seeds: cereals, peas, beans etc. 7 Fine seeds: rape, mustard, grass etc. The Pneumatic Seeding System (DA, s-drill, DL, DT…)

  4. The Metering Device Enclosed metering cell wheel • Any desired seed rate from 2 - 380 kg/ha (cereals, peas, beans, rape, grass etc.) can be metered. • Only 1 metering device is required for up to 40 coulters. • Differences in metering accuracy are +/- 1% for diagonal and length wise inclination (F.A.T. CH (University of Switzerland)). • Due to the conical hopper design sowing is possible up to residual quantities of only 500 g. • The adjustment from normal seed to fine seed (e.g. rape) is easily done without any need for tools (no special insert for beans necessary). Sealed by the top brush A rape brush for fine seeds constantly cleans the cells when the fine seed fingers are engaged Sealed by rubber lip Retention of the dressing is ensured by the use of a very short agitator shaft

  5. Metering Device and Distribution System Sealed by rubber lip Micro metering Normal Seeding

  6. The Pneumatic Seeding System (i-drill PRO, DF-1, DG…)

  7. Standard and Combination Tramline Shut Off Valves • Seed return to the hopper: • Combi Valves allow the seed from theclosed track during tramlining to be returned to the seed hopper. Even when the hopper is full. • Edge row effect: • The seed from the blocked valve is distributed to the adjacent rows It is possible to combine both types of valve toachieve edge row effect and seed return. Combi-valves (return to tank) Combi-Valves (line to coulter) * Not availbale for DF and DG

  8. Manual half width shut-off • Seeding on half working width needed for relevant tramline rhythms • By: • Shut down insert of half width shut off system • Adjustment to micro metering • No opening of the distributor, no change of the distribution head • Easy to retrofit

  10. CX Disc Coulter • Convex Steel Disc • Forms a narrow and consolidated furrow • Enables higher working speed by narrow profile • Achieves good depth control by expanded profile • Flexible Plastic Disc • Keeps the furrow open for an exact seed placement • Cleans the steel disc in the contacted zone • Prevents sticking and blocking of the discs On the basis of thesespecificfeatures, the CX-Disc coulters achieve exact seed placing under both wet and dry mulch seeding conditions.

  11. CX Disc Coulters – Press Wheels • For light, medium, and dry conditions • Improved seed/soil contact • Moisture capillary action (e.g. rape, rye) • Quick adjustment with 7-step selector • Easy to remove for wet conditions CX-Disc Coulter with Press Wheel CX-Disc Coulter without Press Wheel • For wet and dry conditions • For light and heavy soils • For conventional seeding (ploughed seedbed) • For mulch seeding

  20. Electronics - ISOBUS • All KvG electric driven implements are confirm to DIN ISO 11783 • Independent certification from VDMA & DLG  www.isobus.net • KvG is one of the main player in developing the ISOBUS standards • ISOBUS = worldwide defined “language” for communication between implements, tractors and PC (farm software) • KvG has a broad range of ISOBUS compatible implements (seeder, spreader, plough, baler, sprayer, loading wagon…)

  21. Seed Flow Control „Flow Check“ Seed-flow monitoring • For pneumatic seed-drills • independent from machine control system • monitors the seed distribution tubes automatically recognizing and reporting any blockages or errors • easy localization and removing of troubles • Retrofit able on existing machines
