  1. Kverneland Access Product information 2014

  2. Kverneland AccessS-tine harrow for seedbed preparation

  3. Access –Content • Seedbed preparation • Strong frame and headstock • Tines • Quick tines change • Depth control • Side deflectors • Accord Hitch/PTO transfer shaft • Track eradicators • Track marker arm holders • Large rollers range • Road signs • Technical data • Main arguments

  4. Access – Seedbed combination

  5. Access – Strong frame and headstock • Strong power harrow headstock able to carry heavy drills with high hopper capacity like I-Drill (not compatible with CX Ultra), s-drill & s-drill pro, DA, DF, Optima, m-drill and m-drill pro • Compact frame for a good integration of heavy drills with lower lifting capacity required • 3 point linkage Cat II and Cat III

  6. Access – 2 types of tines • Straight tine 45x10 mm: • Strong 45x10 mm straight tine for all conditions (light to heavy) • Can be staggered on 2 or 3 rows • Avoid to bring wet clods on top • The average tine spacing is 150 mm (more details in technical data) • Levelling tine 45x10 mm: • Strong 45x10 mm levelling tine for light conditions and residues • Can be staggered only on 2 rows • For fast seedbed preparation • The average tine spacing is 150 mm (more details in technical data)

  7. 200 mm 336 mm Access – 2 or 3 rows of tines • Strong 45x10 mm straight tine for all conditions (light to heavy) • 2 rows of tines : the distance between the 2 rows is 200 mm • 3 rows of tines : the distance between the first and the second row is 336 mm for a good material flow • The average tine spacing is 150 mm (more details in technical data) • Working depth up to 15 cm

  8. Access – 2 or 3 rows of tines • 3 rows of tines : the 1rst row is bolted in front of the frame. It is easy to add this additional row when the machine is equipped with 2 rows • The tine supports are bolted to avoid any weaknesses on the main frame

  9. Kverneland exclusivity – Tine quick change • Good access for changing tine tips : the tines are fitted on a tine support that can be easily removed in few minutes for safe maintenance operations • The tine support is only bolted by 2 bolts on one side. A cone and an anti-rotation stop are blocking the tines support in the middle

  10. Kverneland exclusivity – Tine quick change • For changing tips, the laterals deflectors must be removed (2 pins) • Remove the lateral tine • Remove the 2 bolts of the tines support • Take away the tines support

  11. Kverneland exclusivity – Tine quick change • Safe and good Access to all maintenance operations : • Tips can be changed on the workbench. It is not necessary to go underneath the machine (dangerous and uncomfortable) • Easy Access to the worn nut of the tips with a grinder (on the workbench). • The customer can have a another set of tines in order to save maintenance time during the seeding season

  12. Access – Depth control • Roller is controlling the depth control • Easy and friendly adjustment • 2 different possibilities depending of the seeding coulter bars • Standard roller arms for combination with precision seeders, mechanical drill carried by hydraulic lift or mounted drill without coulter bar connection onto the roller frame Parallelogram in combination with i-drill or s-drill pro for a fix coulter bar position whatever the depth is.

  13. Access – Side deflectors • Mounted on a parallelogram to follow ground curves • Long deflector plate for a good soil guidance and in order to avoid ridges • The parallelogram is made with high quality steel to allow flexibility with stones • The deflectors are hold by 2 pin and can be removed in few second to get access to the tines

  14. Accord hitch • Same “A” triangle as power harrows which is adapted to Access frame in order to fit all Accord drills (with long parallelogram)

  15. Straight levelling bar • Adaptable with 2 rows of tines • Mechanical depth adjustment by pins • Spring loaded safety system • Combinable with track eradicators • Angle adjustment available Clod Board levelling bar • Adaptable with 2 rows of tines • For active crumbling effect • Hydraulic depth adjustment • Combinable with track eradicators • Agressivity can be adjusted

  16. PTO transfer shaft • The intermediate transfer shaft is available as an option • This kit includes the tractor PTO shaft, the transfer shaft and supports Hydrolift • The Access receives the Hydrolift from the power harrow • Lifting capacity is 1,6 tones • It can carry high capacity drills

  17. Access – Track eradicators • Track-eradicators are fitted on the main frame • With 3 rows of tines, they are fitted in the line of the tine located at that place on the first row Rigid track eradicators with shear bolt protection

  18. Access – Track markers arm holders • I-Drill track marker arms can be fitted on the Access frame with the track marker holders for: • Better track marker stability, • Less strain on the coulter bar • Lower required lifting capacity • For a safe transport, the Access can be equipped with road signs • Front ones (2 units) • Lateral one and rear ones (4 units)

  19. Access – Large roller offer • Cage roller  550 mm or reinforced cage roller ø550mm (not compatible with I-Drill) – 10 bars • Packer roller •  500 mm & 585 mm • Flexline roller  585 mm

  20. Access – Heavy Actipack roller • Actipack roller ø 560mm • The knives are cutting bigger clods coming in the disc spacing of 12,5cm leaving a ready seedbed • Knives pressure can be • adjustable as high as the • disc pressure to the ground • to make equal pressure • through the working width, • and can also be put in a non • working position to leave a • rough ground surface. • Heat treated discs for better resistance. • Skid and knives between discs cleaning • even in wet and sticky conditions (option) • Shaft diameter: 50 mm

  21. Access – Technical data

  22. Access – Main arguments • 2 or 3 rows (straight tines) of tines • Levelling or straight tines • 3.00 to 4,00 m rigid • Quick tines change support for easy and safe maintenance • Strong, light and compact (easy to lift) • Combination with all • Accord drills (except i-drill with CX ultra coulters) • Perfectly adapted for operation • in light to medium soil. • Can match with all heavy rollers in KV range • Large roller offer • With little wear and high output • performance, the Access is a real alternative

  23. Kverneland Access S-tine combination: Solo or in combination – a real alternative !
