Summary: Tendency of the current agreements (EUCOBAN Survey 2013) • 8 Company CA, 3 Sectoral CA, 4 Intersectoral CA • Compared to the preceding survey period the current wage increases were lower. • Inreasing number of CA with a longer runtime. • Most of the CA included beside wages qualitative elements, eg. Instruments for securing employment, regulations against precarious work, instruments of training and qualification. • New regulations of working time in the steel industry of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. • Difficult situation for negotiations of trade unions due to the fact that the economic crisis has not been overcome in most of European countries. • Negative impact of austerity policy and new European Interventionism on Wages and Collective Bargaining.   8. The next collective bargaining rounds in European Steel Industry • Belgium: End of 2013. • Czech Republic: September 2013 till March 2014. • Denmark: Spring 2014. New CA • Germany: First debates to prepare the collective bargaining campaing in March 2014, opening of negotiations in June 2014. • France: Beginning of 2014 (minimum wage). • Slovakia: Second half year of 2014. • Austria: Fall 2014. • Sweden: Beginning of 2015.
