Memory Verse • The Roman Road: The Plan of Salvation • “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 6:23 • What does this verse tell us? • We’re born employed by sin and our paycheck is death • God offers us a a free gift – eternal life • We can’t get to this free gift except by Jesus Christ, who bridges the gap between us and God • For the whole context, read Romans 6:15-23.
Recapping Moses’ Story • What was the Israelites’ situation in Egypt around the time Moses was born? (Exodus 1) • What does the name “Moses” mean? How does his name have a double meaning? (Exodus 2:10) • Reread Exodus 2:23-25. List and discuss the meaning of the action verbs in verses 24-25.
