  2. Important Vocabulary Rusting : when oxygen and iron mix and create Black crusty stuff. EX : an old car. Tarnishing : when certain metals mix with air EX : An old coin. Burning : when oxygen and hydrogen mix EX : a firework being launched

  3. Chemical changes in matter. • Pancake batter is first a liquid. • Then when it cooks gas bubbles come up to the top. • Then finally when its all done then it’s a solid spongy cake like substance. • So if you are a pancake then that’s your life cycle.
