The following night she tries again but she can’t. She finds branches from the trees and she ties them together. Then, she goes to Mokoia but she doesn’t see the island. Himemoa touches the water and the ground and says: “Yes! Yes! The island is here! Hinemoa is very happy. But she doesn’t find Tuta. Then she sees Tuta through the trees, he is happy because Hinemoa is the most beautiful girl in the world and she loves him. They talk and talk all night about their love and their future life together but in mainland Hinemoa’s father is very angry. • Hinemoa’s father and his brother go to Mokoia in a canoe. They go to Tuta’s house and they listen to the flute and now Hinemoa’s father is happy because Tuta is strong and can play the flute. So Tuta and Hinemoa get married.
