By, Ray Kwei A life Of A Fourth Grader
August In August we did easy things to get back into school, such as rounding, adding, punctuation, and learning a bit about Indians. We found out that Mrs. Nam is very active and fun. Once in a while Mrs. Nam leads us outside to play fun games.
September In September we got more complicated we learned more about Indians, electricity, math, and writing exiting stories. This month two new kids came to our class named Lukas and Larissa. We also got pen pals in Moscow, Russia. My pen pal’s name is Andrei.
October During October we celebrated Halloween with a party. We had loads of fun. October was a busy month we studied math, electricity, ELA, and finished studying Indians.
November In November we had a week off because of Thanksgiving. I t was really fun. We made circuits with light bulbs, even harder math and summaries.
December In December we learned the Oregon Trail. We also got see the nut cracker in San Rafael. In my opinion it wasn’t very exciting because I don’t like ballet. In addition to that we had a Christmas party.
January In January we did lots of fun things. We started to read Patty Reed’s Doll . We also got first grade reading buddies. My buddy’s name is Hale.
February In February we learned a lot of math and writing. We also celebrated Valentines Day.
March In March we had a prairie picnic. We ate mashed potatoes, beef jerky, and other food pioneers ate. We also started learning about the government.
May In may we did a lot of studying for the Star Test we did math, ELA, and another ELA pretest. We also went to the capitol and fort
April In April we went to the Audubon Canyon Ranch. We learned about environments and food chains. We finished most of our math.
June In June we had field day, fifth graders vs. teachers softball game, and the last day of school
