CODE SWITCH! There are many places where profanity are simply not acceptable.
DISCUSS! ALERT! There may be varied responses for these! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) in the following places:
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a place of worship? (a service, a wedding, a funeral)
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated R movie? Please do NOT give us an example! :-/
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated PG-13 movie?
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In a Rated PG or G movie?
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . On TV? Cable/non-cable? Are you watching TV with your Grandma? Your friends?
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . In the neighborhood? At the park? Are you hanging out with your friends? Are there little kids around?
DISCUSS! Would using or hearing profanity be ok (or considered “normal”) . . . On Facebook or texting? Who can read it? Do you know who has access? Anybody!

Code Switching Even though profanity or swearing may be “normal” in some places with some people, At Sennett . . .
Profanity and swearing are not welcome at school! Make the “code switch!” We want to be a profanity-free zone!
