  2. SettingCharacter • At the Park • At his house • At a field trip • Something I noticed is that going on a field trip reminds me of my self going on a field trip. • Stink • Webster • Judy • Sophie • If I were Stink being a judge smelling sneakers I would faint.

  3. Stink • Stink has blond hair and smelly sneakers. Stink would like to be a professional smeller when he grows up. Stink was shocked when they asked him to be a judge. Stink loves stinky stuff. He made a smelly perfume that would keep away his sister. Stink has two friends. Their names are Sophie and Webster. He wears a shirt with his face on it and pants.

  4. Author’s Message • The problem was that Stink wanted to be in the contest, but he was a judge. So his sister talked to him and said it wasn’t fair if he picked his own shoes. So he dropped out of the contest. Stink learned if you help in a contest you shouldn’t be in it because it’s not fair if you see your’s you might pick it so you win. I learned the same thing it’s not fair if you are a judge and you pick yourself to be the winner.

  5. Book Recommendation • I am reading Stink and The World’s Worst Supper Stinky Sneakers Contest by Megan McDonald. The genre is realistic fiction. Stink goes on a field trip and his teacher handed out a piece of paper that shows there is a contest for the World’s Worst Super Stinky Sneakers. In the end when they announced the winner it was cool that Sophie won. I will definitely recommend Stink and the Worlds Worst Supper Stinky Sneakers Contest because it is a good and funny book.

  6. Connections • Text to self = In the book, Judy and Stink were fighting. This reminds me of when Mitchell and I fight. • Text to text = In the book, Stink and his class went on a field trip to stinky museum. It reminds me of when Cam Jansen and her friend Eric and their class went on a field to a museum. • Text to self= In the book, they handed out a trophy for the World’s Worst Super Stinky Sneakers. It reminds me of when I get a trophy in golf.
