Joshua 13 – The Inheritance that God gives usThe Land - The Life God’s command to Joshua: When Joshua was old and well advanced in years, the LORD said to him, “You are very old, and there are still very large areas of land to be taken over. This is the land that remains ...” (Joshua 13.1-2) “As for all the inahbitants of the land ... I myself will drive them out before you. Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you, and divide it as an inheritance among the nine and half tribes.” (Joshua 13.16-7)

One day when she came to Othniel, she urged him to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What can I do for you?” She replied, “Do me a special favour. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water.” So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs. (Judges 1.13-15)

Only worship, and the Lord himself.

It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.” Jesus rebuked the evil spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. And they were all amazed at the greatness of God. (Luke 9.38-9, 42-43)
