It’s never too early… • …to request your course for Spring. • http://bbsupport.uark.edu/request/ • Let us know • What semester you want the course to be copied from (if it’s a copy). • Whether or not you want to use Echo360 with your course. • If there are any other people such as graduate assistants who need access to your course.
9. Social Media isn’t over yet • Facebook and Twitter are so 2 years ago. • Pinterest is big now. 8. EasyBib – Free iPhone app • Free App for iPhone, Android, iPad. • Exports MLA, APA and Chicago. • Uses barcode scanner (won’t work for older books)
7. Can’t be too careful • Blackboard is moving to managed hosting. • This will happen in December after final grades are due. • Blackboard will be offline for a minimum of 24 hours. • Need to panic? Nope! • Export your grade book in case you need it while Blackboard is down. • Watch for a tutorial video from the Blackboard Help Desk. I will share the link with the TFSC.

3. STC • The Student Technology Center is available for all your students’ multimedia project needs. • If you have an idea for an assignment or project for students, contact Eve Owens. She’s the manager of the STC and will work with you to determine the resources you need and make sure her staff are ready to assist you and your students. • emowens@uark.edu
