  1. Call to Worship “Truly my soul waits upon God...My soul, wait only upon God; for my expectation is from Him.”

  2. A-las! And did my Savior bleed? And did my Sov’reign die? Would He devote that sacred head For such a worm as I? At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away– It was there by faith, I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! “At the Cross”

  3. Was it for crimes that I have done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity! Grace unknown! And love beyond degree! At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away– It was there by faith, I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! “At the Cross”

  4. Well might the sun in darkness hide And shut his glories in, When Christ, the mighty Maker, died For man the creature’s sin. At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away– It was there by faith, I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! “At the Cross”

  5. But drops of grief can ne’rerepay The debt of love I owe: Here, Lord, I give myself away- ‘Tisall that I can do! At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away– It was there by faith, I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! “At the Cross”

  6. The Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, the third day he rose from the dead , he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;.

  7. The Apostles Creedcont. • from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. • I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

  8. The Prayer Response Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

  9. The Prayer Responsecont. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

  10. The Old Testament Isaiah 58:1-9 (NKJV) 1“Cry aloud, spare not;Lift up your voice like a trumpet;Tell My people their transgression,And the house of Jacob their sins.2 Yet they seek Me daily,And delight to know My ways,As a nation that did righteousness,And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

  11. The Old Testament Isaiah 58:1-9 (NKJV) 3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’ “In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,And exploit all your laborers.4 Indeed you fast for strife and debate,And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day,To make your voice heard on high.

  12. The Old Testament Isaiah 58:1-9 (NKJV) 5 Is it a fast that I have chosen,A day for a man to afflict his soul?Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?Would you call this a fast,And an acceptable day to the Lord? 6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:To loose the bonds of wickedness,To undo the heavy burdens,To let the oppressed go free,And that you break every yoke?

  13. The Old Testament Isaiah 58:1-9 (NKJV) 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him,And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8Then your light shall break forth like the morning,Your healing shall spring forth speedily,And your righteousness shall go before you;The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

  14. The Old Testament Isaiah 58:1-9 (NKJV) 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst,The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

  15. Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

  16. The New Testament I John 2:7-17 (NKJ) 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.8 Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. 9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.

  17. The New Testament I John 2:7-17 (NKJ) 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 12I write to you, little children,    Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.

  18. The New Testament I John 2:7-17 (NKJ) 13 I write to you, fathers,    Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.I write to you, young men,    Because you have overcome the wicked one.I write to you, little children,    Because you have known the Father. 14 I have written to you, fathers,    Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.I have written to you, young men,

  19. The New Testament I John 2:7-17 (NKJ) Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,    And you have overcome the wicked one. 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

  20. All Things Come of Thee All things come of Thee, O Lord, And of Thine own have we given Thee. Amen.
