  1. European Utilities forming a UTILITY NETWORK COMMUNITY to impact, collaborate and co-develop around Esri’s Utility Network TODAY A COOPERATION BETWEEN

  2. OUR GOAL Our goal: Ensure that Esri supports the European grid model and business processes Our ambition: Encourage other utilities and partners to adopt and use the model. Our mission: Develop and publish open standard data models that supports an European grid configuration and is in line with international standards.

  3. UNC MODEL:

  4. INFORMATION MODEL Transformers Short: Device which converts a set of voltage and current to another set of voltage and current, by means of galvanically separate windings around a common magnetic core Context: Transformers are used as a power flow conversion bridge between electrically (galvanically) separate networks, most often on different system voltage levels, but also on the same system voltage level. More: Sites and installations where a transformer is installed, are in most cases called stations (substation, net station, transformer station, or similar).

  9. UNC BENEFITS UNC benefits: • Cost sharing of model development • Knowledge sharing between utilities UNC Industry gains: • Open standard model that is well documented • Ready to use data model fit for purpose UNC moves the industry: • Information is a foundational resource to transform utilities • Innovative IT services
