Students are expected to bring their agenda to class everyday and home everyday. If students lose/misplace their agenda, they will be given a spiral notebook as a replacement or they may purchase a new agenda from the PTO room.

  7. Teacher-Parent Communication: Grades & Conduct Graded work will be sent home weekly in an Orange Plastic Folder called the “Tuesday folder.” All work should be signed by a parent and returned within 3 days. Students will have Red Conduct Folders with behavior logs. Conduct folders go home daily and should be signed weekly.

  8. How are conduct grades calculated? Formula per 9 weeks: 100 minus # of Needs Improvement Comments = Conduct grade on report card. 95-100 = E, 85-94 = S, 75-84 = P, 74 and below = U Example: If a student had 16 comments in the nine week period, 100-16=84 so P would be on the report card . Core Value(s) : 1) Be Safe 2) Be Respectful 3) Be Responsible 4) Committed to Learning Conduct Grades 5th Grade teachers follow the school-wide policy for calculating conduct grades. The red conduct folder is an important tool to help you know the status of your child’s conduct grade before report card time.
