What is Advertising • Consider where you might see adverts and what is their purpose?
Unit breakdown • There are five Learning Objectives • Evaluate an advertising campaign • Plan an advertising campaign including audio-visual advertising • Be able to plan original audio-visual advertising to be used within an advertising campaign. • Be able to present audio-visual ideas to a client for feedback • Be able to produce an original audio-visual advert.
Advertising campaign • You re to explore one of the following campaign and detail all of the elements of advertising being used within this campaign. • Film • Any major movie release I have noticed good online campaigns for: TRON, CLOVERFIELD, DARK KNIGHT, TRANSFORMERS. All of these had interesting viral as well as major advert campaigns. • TV • Any major TV release such as Walking Dead, Game of Thrones etc must be a large scale show with a large budget.
