  2. Long-Term Goals • To enable students to speak ,read and write english.

  3. Short- term Goals • Change my questioning strategies with students to promote critical thinking. • Focus on encouraging students instead of praising.

  4. Instructional strategies and tasks • I will provide more opportunities for students to answer questions that require high –order thinking. • I will ask questions that require students toexplain how they came to an answer.

  5. Solution to Anticipated Challenges • Challenge • The principal may not agree with my new approach. • Solution • I will share the course manual and my notes from this course with my principal. • Challenge • Parents may not understand my methods. • Solution • I will write letter to inform parents of my new methods.

  6. Resources • Other teachers who teach my same grade and subjects. • Spreadsheets applications. • Internet.
