  8. Ride running from the pond in a north-westerly direction. Pond viewed from the south-east.

  10. Potential bat roost in trees covered with ivy. More obvious bat roost potential in trees with dead snags.

  13. EL / DF Area Part of the site contains marginal / favourable habitat Other parts would be classed as unfavourable

Conclusion We have considered our woodland in relation to EPS habitat and our operational programme. • The programme can be compliant with good practice. • There was potential for a licence application should we have been unable to modify an operation. • In order to fulfil the requirements of the Habitats Directive, we need to be fully conversant with the good practice guidance.
