  4. Welding Grant • One of only nine community colleges in U.S. • Curricular advice provided by national expert • Participants are L&C Dean and dual credit welding teacher at Roxana HS • Provides funds to purchase equipment for all dual credit welding programs

  5. Automotive Expansion • High school courses in afternoon • Students from multiple schools • Accelerated AAS degree

  6. Trebuchet • 26 Teams • Engineering & CAD students • Compete on design, accuracy, written report • Expect 50 teams this year

  7. CTE Week • 18 Programs represented • On-campus Allied Health Tours • Hovercraft competition • Enrollment & Financial Aid presentation • Mock Trial

  8. NACEP Accreditation • High schools aware of standards • Better understanding of student expectations • Community confidence

  9. Trust & Cooperation With Schools • Schools consult College on hiring • Requests for School Board Meeting presentations • College, high schools and River Bend Growth Association holding college & career exploration event for seniors during PSAE testing
