Meg Site • Seeking game changing industry • Automotive, steel, etc. • 3,500 acres between Pittsylvania County and Eden, NC • Land acquisition began in 2001 • $13 million expended thus far • 12 sites prepared • Eden is a border county • Inflow and outflow of workers daily • 60% of former Hanesbrands workers hailed from Virginia • Significant number of Danville, VA Goodyear plant are from Eden, NC

Brad Miller and Sen. Kay Hagan • USDA • Golden Leaf Foundation • NC Rural Center
