  3. Arrival/Dismissal Times • August 9th – 1st DAY of SCHOOL • 7:40 am – Campus opens • 7:55 am – 1st bell rings • 8:00 am – Late bell rings • 2:30 pm – Dismissal

  9. Student Lunches • Each grade level has its own lunch time • 6th Grade is at 11:10-11:40am • Lunch costs $2.25 • Menu is posted each day outside

  10. 6th Grade Science Camp • 3 days • 2 nights • Pali Mountain near Arrowhead • March 2011 • Cost is approx. $300 • PTSA will assist with a fundraiser opportunity

  12. Accelerated Reader Monthly rewards are based on points earned by taking a test to answer questions about the books student read. • Homework pass • Sport drinks • Pens/Pencils • Candy bars • Stress ball/Nerf football • Certificates • Restaurant, Borders, Movies

Restricted List Students are ineligible for dances, assemblies, after school activities for a 6-week time period, while on the restricted list. * Suspension from school * Disciplinary action by an administrator * Truancy (period or day) * Habitual tardiness * Negative citizenship (“U” unsatisfactory or 3 “N”s from two different teachers)

  20. Inappropriate T-Shirts and Hats • Anything to do with tobacco, alcohol, sexual content, or violence • No bandanas • Hats must be worn forwards • Hats must be removed when entering a building

  21. Inappropriate Behavior • No “hugging” • No “kissing” • No “play fighting” • No “bullying” • Keep hands to self • No selling of items on campus

  22. Progressive Assistance 1st Offense – warning/article taken 2nd Offense – warning/article taken and parent called 3rd Offense – warning/article taken/meeting with administrator (teacher assigned detention) 4th Offense – Administrative consequences given
