  1. History Of Amusement Parks http://smaaashusa.com/

  2. Amusement parks are those that feature various attractions, such as rides and games and other such interactive activities, as well as events for entertainment purposes. • Amusement parks range from large, worldwide type theme parks such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood to smaller and medium-sized theme parks such as the Six Flags parks and Cedar Fair parks. • There are innumerable other such smaller ventures existing across the United States and around the world. Simpler amusement parks, especially created to offer entertainment to smaller children have also emerged, such as Legoland. • Unlike temporary and mobile funfairs and carnivals, amusement parks are stationary and built for long-lasting existence. 3. Amusement parks evolved from European fairs, pleasure gardens and large picnic areas. These had been created for people's recreation. • World's fairs and other types of international expositions also influenced the emergence of the amusement parks around the more developed areas of the world initially. • The oldest and continuously-operating amusement park, called Lake Compounce, opened in 1846 in North America. 4. If the growth in attendance at the top amusements parks around the world continues the way statistics are telling, this is going to be called a golden age for the theme park industry in essential totality. • According to a market report from AECOM and the Themed Entertainment Association, the attendance at the top 25 amusement parks worldwide grew by 5.4% in 2015 and has been growing ever since. • Amusement parks would more aptly be referred to as ‘amazement parks’ these days keeping in mind the rather radical alternatives coming up for even the lifts and escalators within these spaces- a snake like slide to bring you down five floors! • There is also an emergence of amusement parks being opened within shopping malls. Some of these exist in West Edmonton Mall, Alberta, Canada; Pier 39, San Francisco; Mall of America, Bloomington, Minnesota. Growth In The Amusement Park Industry http://smaaashusa.com/

  5. Educational Theme Parks-Some amusement parks use rides and attractions for educational purposes. Disney’s Epcot was the first to be successfully opened as a large-scale theme park built around education in 1982. It is the second park in the Walt Disney World Resort. • Family Owned Theme Parks- Some theme parks evolved from more traditional amusement park enterprises. For example-  Knott's Berry Farm • Regional Parks- The first regional amusement park was opened in 1961 in Texas. It was the first  Six Flags park as well. It was based on the vision of Angus Wynne, Jr. and helped in the creation of the modern and competitive amusement park industry. Other Types Of Amusement Parks http://smaaashusa.com/
