Achievements • A special software (Żbik) to collect data was prepared by a proffesional company • 1/4 of Road Police units was equipped with a netbook containing the software • Data was collected electronically and send to Police Department’s and Road Administration CiViTAS Workshops l13 September 2011 lBrussels lLukasz Franek

Lessons learnt It’s not possible to change national institution – Police Department – „from the bottom” Reorganization of the transport management system in the city Lack of political support Safety is often not treated seriosuly Lack of common methodology on accident data analyzing - SAFETYNET CiViTAS Workshops l13 September 2011 lBrussels lLukasz Franek
