  2. Thermo TPM-903B Un-Packing • TPM arrives in Wooden box with the blue bag or the rugged rolling case • This may be used for storage of TPM • Remove blue bag. • Unzip bag to reveal TPM held by velcro straps

  3. Thermo TPM-903B Placement • Place crosspiece on floor • This is just to space feet • Place feet at same width

  4. Thermo TPM-903B Assembly • Stand pillar on foot • Viewed from “Entry” side • Controller / Pillar “A” best on right • For safety best done with two

  5. TPM-903B Detector Feet Mounting • Use washers • Tighten nuts tight • Letters to the inside

  6. Thermo TPM-903B Both Detector Pillars • Stand up left pillar • “Letters” face in • “Plain” pillar best on left • Viewed from “Entry” side • Mount in same way as “master” pillar

  7. Thermo TPM-903B Overhead Piece • Cable #1 to “A” • Cable #1 to “B” • Both #1 & #2 thru hole

  8. Thermo TPM-903B Pillar Connections • Hold overhead above pillars • Attach cable #1 to controller pillar “A” • Attach cable #2 to plain pillar • Rest overhead on pillar tops

  12. Thermo TPM-903B - Switch On Follow set up instructions. Switch on power switch. You will hear a test beep and the lamps will flash. TPM will cycle through a test screen and a background screen, then finish with an OK screen and a green light. • Green Light • Background counts • Occupancy Status • # of occupancies • Battery voltage • Date / Time • f

Thermo TPM-903B - Operation • Set up a “hold line” 6-8 feet from TPM-903B • Operator stands by display • When display says OK/Ready operator instructs single users to walk through without pause • If no audible and visual alarm is noted after exit, operator calls through next user from hold line. • If the TPM-903B alarms, move user away to de-con zone and frisk user, then after alarm resets, call through next user • Use PRD/Frisker to find hot spot and/or a RIID to Identify Isotope.
