We have already discussed about How to Crop In Photoshop which is a must read tutorial if you would like to focus on specific areas of the image. In this tutorial we would be using a very simple technique to extract from images. We would be following the give process –> First we will use the quick selection tool –> Next is the refine edge technique–> Layer mask –> Lastly we will use the layer panel. The image we have chosen has a multicolored background since plain background are easier to extract. For a perfect selection you should use a pen tool available in Photoshop because of its flexibility, but since we would use the quick selection tool, we won’t have a perfect selection and extract. 2. extract in photoshop initial Next  1. 1. Step 1 — > Selection of the Quick Selection Tool Method 1 –> Open the image in Photoshop. Click on the quick selection tool as shown in the figure from the tool panel. You can also select the tool by pressing Shift + W form the keyboard. Method 2 –> As mentioned above if you need a perfect extract use pen tool available in Photoshop. We would soon be out with a tutorial on that. So stay tuned. Tis method provides excellent flexibility. However the method 1 is much easier to use as compared to its counterpart. Keep in mind that you are using the Add to Selection mode. Turn on the autoenhance. And keep the sample all layers unchecked.
