  3. Our Innovators Ayisha Sereni graduated from Drexel University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and completed her MBA in 2011 at the University Of Scranton. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylvania concentrating Organizational Leadership. In 2010, Ayisha has accepted the position of Interim Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at MCCC and is looking forward to encouraging other entrepreneurs to follow their own dreams by utilizing the extensive business support services offered at the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Home Suzanne Vargus Holloman is the Dean of Workforce Development and Continuing Education at Montgomery County Community College.  Suzanne is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of non-credit educational programs and services in the area of computer training, professional development, personal enrichment, health careers, public safety, and customized training for business and industry.  Under her guidance, the workforce development and continuing education programs have thrived with enrollment doubling to over 12,000 students. Strategic Entrepreneurship: Collaboration Strategies to Maximize Resources for Entrepreneurship Centers During these challenging economic times, a community college with an existing entrepreneurial program can become even more entrepreneurial by using creative strategies that will leverage existing resources in order to earn additional revenue for the institution. The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) was launched in August 2010. Collaborating with the College’s Woman Owned Business Program, it has been highly successful at nurturing young business entrepreneurs with the following resources: i) credit and non-credit course offerings; ii) business incubators; iii) consulting services; iv) external partnerships with business associations. Quality programming is available through credit and non-credit courses in the College’s Business and Entrepreneurial Initiatives, and Continuing Education and Workforce Development divisions. The CES and Woman Owned Business programs share staff and enable both credit and non-credit seeking students to enroll in the same courses, in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
