Supplies • Students are responsible for bringingbooks and supplies to and from classes each day! • Students have been assigned lockers to keep all belongings. (Locks are not permitted) • In Third Grade we have community desks which students are expected to keep neat, organized, and free from clutter. Desks are expected to be shared responsibly with their desk mate. (books may remain in desk at students discretion)

Grading Policy Grades will be an average of all grades received. Defining progress as movement toward mastery of the TEKS as required by the laws of Texas. Scholarly Behavior All Scholars... Thirst for Knowledge. Consider themselves "half-full." Are curious. Ask good questions. Come prepared to learn; they bring their tools. Set goals - long and short term. Exercise their intellect by trying challenging tasks. Look at multiple resources which includes primary and secondary sources. View ideas and problems from multiple perspectives. Save ideas and unfinished work; they save using diskettes, journal, binders, etc. Spend time pondering ideas and elaborate on connections of the facts with big ideas.

Money from Mrs. E. • Agenda must be signed by parent every day student is present. • Student must write assignments in planner daily. • Student must complete all homework on time in both classes. • Student must exhibit scholarly behavior all week in both classes. • Students will be paid every Friday.
