  6. What happened? • Thanes are talking about the English army. • Where are they meeting? • What is their army mainly made of? • Macbeth is fortifying his position.

  7. What’s important! • The side that the thanes seem to be taking. • Where they are going to meet

  9. What happened? • Macbeth is gloating. • Macbeth gets an update about the approaching army. • Macbeth is told about Lady Macbeth’s illness, and the doctor is told to heal her.
