CLOUD SERVICES: ADVANTAGES AND HOW THEY WORK

Cloud Computing includes a type of services provided via the internet and accessible remotely. Cloud services therefore allow you to access and work on certain resources remotely using only the internet connection. In this case therefore the user does not need to install any software but simply needs to connect to the network via browser. Specifically, access to a resource does not occur via a physical server present in the company, but by connecting via the internet to a server present within a data center, which in turn can be located anywhere in the world.

  1. CLOUD SERVICES: ADVANTAGES AND HOW THEY WORK

  2. What are cloud services? • Cloud Computing includes a type of services provided via the internet and accessible remotely.

  3. By using cloud services, therefore, users and businesses no longer have to manage physical servers themselves or run applications on their own machines. This is therefore a great advantage for companies which can thus optimize costs while guaranteeing an efficient and professional service.

  4. Cloud computing services: characteristics and types • Cloud Computing can also vary and be structured based on your needs, even if all cloud services have the following characteristics: • provider , which provides cloud hosting, purchases and manages hardware and software; • interface , which allows the user to use the cloud independently; • flexibility.

  5. In fact, cloud services adapt completely to the customer's needs, which can however change over time. Not only that, this technology does not involve fixed costs, but you only pay for what you decide to use. Depending on the final destination, cloud computing is also divided into: private/corporate clouds , public clouds, accessible to anyone upon payment, community clouds. The latter are created for groups that share similar IT needs, such as local governments. Not only that, cloud services also differ in the type of platform made available. In particular it is possible to distinguish:

  6. Iaas (Infrastructure as a Service), a platform in which the amount of data that can be stored is limited and so is its processing. • Paas (Platform as a Service), i.e. platforms on which new applications can be developed without having to face additional purchase costs. • Saas (Software as a Service), i.e. flexible software suitable for various business needs. • To read our full blog click here:https://www.sonicatel.com/news/servizi-in-cloud-vantaggi-e-come-funzionano
