The women are mainly found in costumes such as ghagra, lehenga, kunchuki, kanchli, choli, sari, and odhni. • The females belonging to the affluent society can be found in dupattas and patkas. The footwear that these females wear constitutes jutees and chappals. One can even find attractive and designer footwear like the sandals which are decorated with stars and golden threads. • Such sandals are very general amid the high profile women. The attires for Rajasthani women are very much similar to the culture and religion itself which are as colorful as the atmosphere here. • The seasons, emotions, moods as well as status of people are displayed by the costumes of females of Rajasthan. The regional style and taste can be seen in Royal dresses of Rajasthan. • The luxurious and rich costumes were designed beautifully by the special people during ancient times. In order to take care of the dresses of king and queen, there were two specific sections, namely Kapaddwadra and Toshakhanand. • Rajput kings loved to wear high-class dresses. Bandhej Saree:- Bandhej Saree which is also known as "Bandhani Saree" is specially found in Rajasthan .The fine variety of this type of saree is created in Mandavi, Bhuj, Kutch, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot, Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner etc. The Bandhani work has been exclusively carried out by the Khatri community of Kutchh and Saurashtra. • A meter length of cloth can have thousands of tiny knots known as 'Bheendi' in the local language ('Gujarati'). These knots form a design once opened after dyeing in bright colours. Traditionally, the final products can be classified into 'khombhi', 'GharChola', 'Chandrakhani', 'Shikari', 'Chowkidaar', 'Ambadaal' and other categories. Bandhej Saree • Leheriya Saree:- Leheria dyeing is done on thin cotton or silk cloth, usually in lengths appropriate for turbans or saris. According to World Textiles: A Visual Guide to Traditional Techniques, the fabric is "rolled diagonally from one corner to the opposite selvedge, and then tied at the required intervals and dyed". • Wave patterns result from fanlike folds made before dyeing. Handloom kota silk sarees were originally called Masuria because they were woven using Mysore silk in Mysore. Kota silk saris were primarily patronized by Maharao Bhim Singh, who summoned the weavers from Mysore to Kota, between 1707 and 1720. • The art of using open khat patterns on fabric was so intriguing that the entire Kota silk sarees collection was highly appreciated by the elite. The dresses with gota work are used for special occasions or religious occasions. • Gota is crafted using appliqué technique with a strip of gold or silver or various other coloured ribbons of different widths woven in a satin or twill weave. It involves placing woven gold cloth onto fabrics such as georgette or bandhini to create different surface textures.
