The payroll feature, by default, has already been enabled in QB online but if you want to turn off this feature. It depends upon you how often you pay your employees, on which date their paycheck is due, and which day you run payroll. QB manual payroll calculates your upcoming payroll schedule so that you can pay your employees on the actual day of payment.
