Weapons Used (Rifles) • Rifles were used by almost every soldier(unless injured) on the field(union and confederate). • 1863 Springfield Rifle Musket(.58 to .69 caliber Minnie ball) • British 1853 Enfield Musket(.58 Cal. shots) • Whitworth Rifle(Not primarily used, could hit a adult sized target at 1000 yards) • Burnside Carbine(Used only by calvalry) Again I only named a few
