Megtalátam”, Duna TV, September 2004 Prof. Dr Péter Risztics, the director of Budapest University of Technology and Economics Centre of Information Technology (BUTE CIT) had an interview in the Hungarian Duna (Danube) Satellite Television. The 10 min-interview gave an overview about the BUTE CIT and summarised the point and the goal of the TRANSACT project and the TRANSACT conference in Budapest 11th - 12th March 2004 in BUTE CIT.

Awareness Rising Business Simulation Competition – The Idea • a computer based simulation for students interested in starting their own business - a model of company structures and business processes at reduced complexity • focus on reproduction of the typical phases a start-up company is going through facing business, technical and social challenges
Awareness Rising Business Simulation Competition – The Competitors 4 teams (each 4-6 participants) from - Romania (University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest, Faculty of Agriculture) - Estonia (Tartu University, Institute of Technology) - Hungary (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Centre of Information Technology) - France (CREALYS, Lyon)
Awareness Rising Business Simulation Competition in Budapest, December 2004 Due to the high number of applications even a pre-competition took place with 22 participants in Budapest. In the final competition the Hungarian team “BikeZone” won the 1st prize!

Networking Internal Network: As a first step, professors have been addressed who seemed willing to support the idea of start-up support and who could act as multipliers Centre of Information Technology
Training INNOTECH included the idea to offer training courses for students, graduates and other would-be entrepreneurs in the field of entrepreneurship into the project proposal.
