  2. Software outline The Micronet Messaging Application (MMA) is an advanced, configurable, software application running on Micronet M-Series, Net960CE-X and Net960CE-S MDT. For a limited time, it is offered free of charge with every Device integration Package (M100), or Developer’s tool Kit (of the M200/201, Net960CE-S, and Net960CE-X)

MMA capability • Controlled login procedure • Full 2-way messaging • Manage inbox, outbox, andstatus of messages • Manage responses (= a message that is related to an incoming message) • Multi platform: support both M-Series and Net960CE • Client independent • Client upgradability • Configurable application • Independent Communication layer • Optional modules (such as paratransit)

  7. Client responses • Three types of responses: • Free format • Canned • Predefined form • Response associated to an incoming message • Forcing response type for a certain message • Forcing response upon status changes • View the entire responses thread for a certain incoming message

  8. Status cycle • Custom status declaration capability • Each message has an initial status • Status changes with message cycle • Configurable automatic acknowledgement upon status changes • Forcing response when status changed Status Cycle

  9. Alert messages • A message can be defined as an alert message by the dispatcher • An alert message immediately pops up on the MDT screen • The alert message is handled as a regular message

  10. Login Several ways to login to the system (per configuration) • Only user ID/Name (Alphanumeric) • User ID with local password • User ID selected from a list box • User ID with server verification • User ID & password with server verification • No login (identify the device Serial #)
