System sends an assignment to the Administration Officer and notifies stakeholders
The Administration Officer assigns the application to a Chief Inspector. System sends an assignment to the Chief Inspector and notifies stakeholders
The Chief Inspector assigns the application to a Building Inspector. System sends an assignment to the Building Inspector and notifies stakeholders
The Building Inspector confirms the inspection date with the owner, and makes a note of the Chief’s notes. NB: The Detail of the Application is on each screen.
The Building Inspector goes off and performs his inspection and on his return captures the Outcome.
The Building Inspector must have a counter signature from the Chief Inspector.
The Application is returned to the Administration Officer who assigns it to an Examiner for the Scrutinize process.
The Scrutinize process involves scrutiny of the entire application from re-visiting the check lists, requesting comments through to re-calculating the fees . Once the Scrutinize is complete the Client is notified of outcome. The next step is Approval by by the Chief Examiner.
The System controls the Approval checklist and only once all confirmed as correct (Ticked) will the Chief Examiner be permitted to approve the application.
The System notifies the client of the approval, who will then continue with the first step of his development as far as the next required Inspection. On completion of the development the client requests the next inspection. Until this request the application is in a wait state as far as the system is concerned.
The administration Officer will capture the request for Inspection. This may be a Re-inspection in which case a fee is required.
The capturing of the request for inspection starts the process in the system. The administration officer assigns the request to the Chief Inspector.
The Chief Inspector assigns an inspector. (The same as previous – Site Inspection)
The Inspector confirms the inspection date, performs the inspection and on his return captures the outcome. • (The same as previous – Site Inspection)
The System handles ALL inspections with this same process. All the way through to the issuing of the Occupation Certificate.
