Problem Infrastructures for Animal and Plant health are limited. This situation prevents the improvement in the quality of Animal and vegetal products, which is a danger for consumers.
Justification • The problem of poor infrastructures prevents the states to insure production of high standards products for the local markets and eventually exports. The main animal problem is the attack of tsetse fly. The main vegetal health problem is the mosaic of Cassava. However, laboratories and infrastructures to prevent those diseases are very limited.
Strategies • To initiate discussion and encourage governments, public bodies and other institutions to address the root causes of global issues affecting agriculture protection in DRC. • To promote proven plant-based diet, thus avoiding the rising demand and higher costs of treatments
