  1. All You Need to Know About Sound Healing Sound healing is majorly understood as a branch of therapy in which aspects of sounds and music are used to improve the physical and emotional health of a person. The person who is being provided with the therapy is provided or supervised by a trained professional. Major components of music therapy: ●Listening to music ●Singing the songs while they are played ●Moving freely under the influence of the beats ●Meditating ●Playing a musical instrument Sound healing can be traced back to Greek civilization when music was referred to as a medium to heal mental disorders. If we look back in time we can witness that music was a medium to boost the spirit and morale of the soldiers, help people to work more efficiently and effectively, and even remove negative energy from the house by chanting. In some recent studies, it has been concluded that music has been linked to several benefits for health like improving the immune system, decrease in stress levels and making the health of premature babies better. Types of Sound Therapy:

  2. Sound therapy for grief is the best solution that The Sounding Heart offers to its clients. They do this to help their clients obtain the maximum benefits of this therapy. There is not one but a couple of different types of sound therapy, each having different benefits and affecting different areas. ●Guided Meditation Guided meditation refers to a form of sound healing in which the patient meditates to different voiced instruments, in class or a session, it may also be done using an app or a video. Meditation may involve chanting prayers and different mantras. Studies have concluded that meditation carries different types of health benefits like ●Reducing stress ●decreasing stress and anxiety ●improved memory ●reduced hypertension ●reduction in pain ●lower cholesterol ●Lower risk of cardiac problems ●Neurologic Sound Therapy Music therapy when administered helps in reducing stress and promotes relaxation. It has been proved in various cases when anxiety is reduced effectively due to sound therapy rather than medication. Research published in the year 2017 showed the effectiveness of thirty-minute music therapy with normally prescribed therapy to help reduce pain after spinal surgery. ● Bonny Method The method has been named after PHD Helen L. Bonny. GIM is the method of guided imagery with music, it refers to the use of classical music accompanied by imagery to explore one's growth, consciousness and even physical transformation. ●Tuning Fork Therapy Tuning fork therapy refers to a process in which calibrated tuning forks are used to apply a particular frequency of vibration to particular parts of the body. The process has been witnessed to relieve stress, and tension and even helps in maintaining emotional balance.

  3. The process has a similar kind of working in comparison with acupuncture, the only major difference in tuning fork different sound frequencies are used rather than needles. Studies also suggest a reduction of muscular pain due to the therapy. The Sounding Heart leverages another approach known as the singing bowl approach to try out different techniques with their clients. Conclusion As we can conclude, music therapy is one of the most effective and efficient techniques of therapy backed by many studies and research. Also, the therapy helps in lowering cholesterol levels, and hypertension, and improves sleep.
