Welcome to TSTC!! • *REGISTER FOR CLASSES WITH YOUR ADVISOR AND RECEIVE YOUR SCHEDULE. *ONLY WITH TESTING & MENINGITIS SHOT COMPLETE • TAKE YOUR ID PICTURE(YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ID ON THIS DAY AND YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR TECH ONE CARD IN THE MAIL. KEEP BOTH OF THESE CARDS.) • GET YOUR PARKING PERMIT(AFTER RECEIVING YOUR ORIGINAL PERMIT, YOU MUST GET A RENEWAL STICKER EACH SEMESTER THAT YOU ATTEND.) • ARRANGE PAYMENTUNLESS YOU ARE RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID. (IF YOU ARE RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID, YOU SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED AN AWARD LETTER.)

ID Card,Tech OneCard & Refunds YOU ARE EXPECTED TO CARRY A TSTC ID CARD AT ALL TIMES ON-CAMPUS. • ID CARD – Complete ID Verification Form in Orientation Packet and bring to the Business Office: • ID Verification Form • Unexpired Driver’s License, State ID or Passport • Computer printout of Registration/Schedule • STUDENT WILL BE ISSUED A TSTC ID CARD. • Tech OneCard will be mailed in about 10-14 days to your address. • You will not receive a Tech OneCard until your TSTC ID card has been issued. • ALL REFUNDS FROM TSTC WILL BE PROCESSED ON YOUR TECH ONECARD ACCOUNT. • FIRST TIME BORROWERS: LOANS WILL NOT BE APPLIED TO ACCOUNTS UNTIL 30 DAYS AFTER FIRST CLASS DAY or COMPLETION OF LOAN DOCUMENTS, WHICHEVER COMES LAST.

  6. Payments for Tuition, Fees and/or Housing PAYMENTS FOR YOUR TUITION, FEES AND/OR HOUSING FOR THE SEMESTER ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 23, 2013. 3 OPTIONS FOR PAYMENT : • PAYMENT IN FULL BY ABOVE DEADLINE • FINANCIAL AID PROCESS COMPLETED BY ABOVE DEADLINE • PAYMENT PLAN BY ABOVE DEADLINE • Initial Payment: 1/3 of total charges, plus $25.00 installment plan fee • Tuition and Housing are 2 separate payment plans. • All payment plans require a student signature to be valid. • Payment plans are for the current semester only.

  14. What kind of Classes can I take? TRADITIONAL COURSE- INSTRUCTOR LED FACE-TO-FACE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION. HYBRID COURSE- INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT ENTER A PARTNERSHIP BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM. DISTANCE LEARNING - (DL) CLASS TAKES PLACE IN A VIRTUAL CLASSROOM WHICH MEANS THAT STUDENTS ATTEND CLASS BY USING A COMPUTER AND THE INTERNET. THERE IS VERY LITTLE FACE-TO-FACE CONTACT BETWEEN INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENTS.
