READ: EZEKIEL 26:1-2 PROCLAMATION AGAINST TYRE 1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 "Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, 'Aha! She is broken who was the gateway of the peoples; now she is turned over to me; I shall be filled; she is laid waste.'

READ: JEREMIAH 52:4-5 4 Now it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem and encamped against it; and they built a siege wall against it all around. 5 So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. READ: 2 SAMUEL 5:11 11 Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters and masons. And they built David a house. (1 CHRONICLES 14:1) READ: 1 KINGS 5:1 1 Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, because he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram had always loved David.

READ: 2 CHRONICLES 2:11-12 11 Hiram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon: Because the LORD loves His people, He has made you king over them. 12 Hiram also said: Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given KingDavid a wise son, endowed with prudence and understanding, who will build a temple for the LORD and a royal house for himself! READ: 2 CHRONICLES 2:13-14 13 I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram my master craftsman, 14 (the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre), skilled to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, purple and blue, fine linen and crimson, and to make any engraving and to accomplish any plan which may be given to him, with your skillful men and with the skillful men of my lord David your father. Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee. 12 Then Hiram went from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him, but they did not please him. 13 He said, "What kind of cities are these which you have given me, my brother?" He called them the land of Cabul, as they are to this day. 14 Then Hiram sent the king 120 talents of gold. NKJV

READ: JEREMIAH 27:3-6 3 Send to the king of Edom, the king of Moab, the king of the Ammonites, the king of Tyre, and the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah. 4 And command them to say to their masters, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel — …. 5 'I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are on the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed proper to Me. 6 And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant; and the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him.

WHAT WILL THE LORD DO TO TYRE? WHY? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TYRE? WHY?

WHAT WILL THE LORD DO TO TYRE? WHY? READ: ISAIAH 23:1 1 Wail, you ships of Tarshish! For it is laid waste, So that there is no house, no harbor; From the land of Cyprus it is revealed to them. NKJV READ: ISAIAH 5:30 30 In that day they will roar against them Like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks to the land, Behold, darkness and sorrow; And the light is darkened by the clouds. TYRE = ROCK WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TYRE? WHY? READ: AMOS 1:9-10 9 Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, And did not remember the covenant of brotherhood. 10 But I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, Which shall devour its palaces." Then they shall know that I am the LORD.'

Will you retaliate against Me? But if you retaliate against Me, Swiftly and speedily I will return your retaliation upon your own head; 5 Because you have taken My silver and My gold, And have carried into your temples My prized possessions. 6 Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem You have sold to the Greeks, That you may remove them far from their borders. For the eyes of men And all the tribes of Israel Are on the LORD. 2 Also against Hamath, which borders on it, And against Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise. 3 For Tyre built herself a tower, Heaped up silver like the dust, And gold like the mire of the streets. 4 Behold, the LORD will cast her out; He will destroy her power in the sea, And she will be devoured by fire.

He will direct his battering rams against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers.

READ: EZEKIEL 26:10-12 PROCLAMATION AGAINST TYRE 10 Because of the abundance of his horses, their dust will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of the horsemen, the wagons, and the chariots, when he enters your gates, as men enter a city that has been breached. 11 With the hooves of his horses he will trample all your streets; he will slay your people by the sword, and your strong pillars will fall to the ground. 12 They will plunder your riches and pillage your merchandise; they will break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; they will lay your stones, your timber, and your soil in the midst of the water.

WHO WILL THE LORD BRING AGAINST TYRE? WHAT WILL THEY DO? READ: JEREMIAH 4:13 13 "Behold, he shall come up like clouds, And his chariots like a whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are plundered!" NKJV

READ: ISAIAH 23:8-9 8 Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, Whose merchants are princes, Whose traders are the honorable of the earth? 9 The LORD of hosts has purposed it, To bring to dishonor the pride of all glory, To bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth. Their chargers charge ahead; Their cavalry comes from afar; They fly as the eagle that hastens to eat. NKJV
