Roberts, Training Specialist, VALU IT NT&EO Alex Hersh, Implementation Manager, OI&T Good morning and welcome to “Increasing your MHV I.Q.” My name is Cheryl Roberts and I am a Training Specialist with the VALU IT National Training & Education Office and the MHV program. My office is located in Martinsburg, WV. I’d like to introduce you to Alex Hersh, National Implementation Manager with the Office of Information & Technology. Alex’s office is in Baltimore. Alex and I have been working together with MHV for two years. During the first part of our class Alex and I will would like for you to join us as we travel through three MHV adventure sites. The MHV Product website, MHV Training website, and the MHV Store. Along the way you will discover fabulous resources which may be used to develop or to enhance successful programs and events once you return to your medical centers. During the second part of the class, we will provide an opportunity for you to form teams within your PC neighborhoods, utilizing these web resources to design an Awareness Week plan intended for use with audiences either within your medical center such as employees, clinicians, patients, or within your local community such as Veteran Service Organizations, civic organizations, and/or other veteran support groups. Please write questions on the 3x5 cards provided Room assistants will collect the cards and we will respond toward the end, as time permits If we run out of time, questions and answers will be posted on the VeHU website Anytime in which you are experiencing problems with the computer, please raise your hand to receive assistance. On the 3 x 5 cards provided, we would like for you to write down questions you may have throughout the class. For the Q&A section, the RAGs will collect the cards and we will respond to as many questions as possible during the session.
