Important Developments • Task Team Report on IPR & Related Issues circulated • UN/CEFACT report to the UNECE Committee on Trade • FMG & Bureau F2F in Basle in January to progress strategic issues • European Electronic Invoice Expert Committee set up. Includes 3 UN/CEFACT members • Preparations for eBGT launch progressing well • Progress on Forum Procedures Team expected at this Forum 12th UN/CEFACT FORUM - Mexico City

Some recent deliverables • Final spec UML Profile for Core Components v 1.0 released • 2007 LOCODE Directory available • Draft revisions of recommendations 20 - Codes for Units of Measure in International Trade, & 21 - Codes for Passengers, Types of cargo etc - out for public review • Recommendation 23 rev 6, Freight Cost Code (FCC) released • D.07A XML Schema Directory released 12th UN/CEFACT FORUM - Mexico City

Work programme in progress • UN/CEFACT Project Matrix updated • Confluence enterprise wiki tool for tracking UN/CEFACT projects should be operational by June • Many important action items to be cleared • FMG conf calls every 2 weeks continue to progress day to day issues • Extended Bureau calls on strategic issues • Future Forum meetings at planning stage • Dakar - Senegal, November 2008 • Rome - Italy, March 2009 • Sapporo - Japan, September 2009 12th UN/CEFACT FORUM - Mexico City
