HISTORY Linking the past to the future _____________________________________________ Spirit of Adventure Trust founded in 1972 First ship - Spirit of Adventure (1973-1997) Current ship - Spirit of New Zealand (1986) Over 75,000 young people on board Open to anyone aged 15–18 years of age Trainees come from across New Zealand 40 trainees per voyage (20 females | 20 males) Approximately 25, 10-Day voyages per year
